The Milan Edit | #takeaseat part 1
Salone del Mobile may have closed its doors for another year but we're still excited by the wealth of new pieces revealed on the stands.
Some of them are now making their way to our showroom giving us the exciting opportunity to try them all out and bring the best of Milan Design Week for you to try out too.
We saw a resurgence of mid-century design making its way from Milan into our hotels and restaurants and tubular metal frames taking some unique forms in classic matte black and slipper cups in sleek rose gold.
Boogie armchair
Boogie offers a retro take on the metal frame trend. Aptly named for its seventies reincarnation of metal frames, square proportions and armrest pads, the Boogie collection includes side chair, armchair, lounge chair, 2 seater sofa and bar stool model with open sides.
Hardwick chair
Crafted with style from solid beech wood, the Hardwick chair is a classic example of mid century design traveling to the modern age. The Hardwick's signature backrest structure can be seen across the collection in the form of bar stool and armchair.
Agatha 3 side chair
A side chair with a retro look and contemporary rose gold slipper cups. The Agatha has swapped its spoke backrest for a classic central panel design. To cap it off, the rose gold slipper cups add a luxurious element to the design.

Agatha stool
A classic wooden seat and metal framed stool, ideal for cafés and restaurants. The new look Agatha stool merges seamlessly with the whole collection, creating a clean blend of vintage and contemporary style commercial furniture.
De Milo chair
Entrancing visitors, the De Milo chair features elegant fluted back upholstery in a shape reminiscent of a sea shell and a tub style seat to ensure you're seated comfortably.
Rolla side chair
The rolled backrest of the Rolla side chair gives this design extra softness and a unique quality. The quirky collection was launched with an armchair and a bar stool, each with the signature rounded backrest and classic wooden frame.
Musta side chair
Functionality is stripped back & modernised with a tubular metal frame & fully upholstered seat in the Musta side chair. With the trendy exposed metal frame we've spotted at all the design festivals this year, Musta makes sophisticated combination of matte black and millennial pink in this image but is available in a wide variety of upholstery. Combine in any modern interior with other pieces from the Musta collection comprising of a side chair, lounge chair and bar stool.
Jace armchair
Made from solid wood with armrests that form an angular wave like shape, the Jace armchair is a contemporary classic with its take on mid-century modern style.
Both name and design take Japanese influence creating a sleek and contemporary side chair with metal frame and options for upholstered and un-upholstered seat and backrest in a range of colours and fabrics.
With a simple frame made from either beech or ash wood, the Jona chair has been expertly formed. The exposed wooden frame curves gracefully around the backrest and provides comfort with its padded section. With a full collection in different variations on the style, the Jona is a mid-century inspired piece of furniture design.
Lissy chair
Lissy's curved back and cosy sides makes this a welcoming modern chair. With options for plain upholstery and contrasting piping both internally on the backrest and externally on the seat and edging. This is a lovely chair to set within boutique hotel rooms or luxury dining areas.
